Zixtech HUB is proud to announce its selection as a Regional Spotlight Facilitator under the Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO) 2025–2026, a flagship initiative of the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the G20 Global Land Initiative.
This recognition positions Zixtech HUB among a select group of ecosystem organizations worldwide entrusted with supporting young ecopreneurs who are driving innovative solutions in sustainable land management, ecological restoration, climate action, and green enterprise development.
About the Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO)
The Youth Ecopreneur Programme is a global initiative designed to power the green and just transition by investing in youth entrepreneurs as catalysts for sustainable development and environmental restoration. Through entrepreneurship, innovation, mentorship, advocacy, and ecosystem strengthening, the programme equips young leaders with the tools and networks required to scale impactful green businesses.
The programme aims to cultivate a new generation of ecopreneurs who view land restoration, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience not only as social responsibilities but also as viable and profitable business opportunities.
The initiative is implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC), the joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, through its Youth and Trade Programme and the global Ye! Community.
Zixtech HUB’s Role
As a Regional Spotlight Facilitator, Zixtech HUB will serve as the primary focal point for a regional cohort of approximately 25 youth ecopreneurs participating in the global YECO Bootcamp and Accelerator Programme.
Between September 2025 and March 2026, Zixtech HUB will:
Facilitate weekly regional spotlight sessions that contextualize global masterclasses to local realities.
Promote peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and innovation among young green entrepreneurs.
Deliver a customized masterclass responding to participants’ specific needs.
Connect participants with mentors, investors, grant opportunities, business networks, and ecosystem partners.
Support entrepreneurs in strengthening investment readiness, marketing, legal compliance, intellectual property protection, storytelling, and artificial intelligence applications for green businesses.
Participate as a jury member during the YECO Pitch Event.
Provide ongoing mentorship and ecosystem support throughout the Accelerator Phase.
Advancing Green Entrepreneurship in Africa

Looking Ahead
The Youth Ecopreneur Programme Bootcamp officially launches in September 2025, bringing together 225 selected ecopreneurs from across the globe. Through this journey, Zixtech HUB looks forward to fostering collaboration, innovation, and impact while helping young entrepreneurs transform environmental challenges into sustainable business opportunities.
